What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger: Turning Bad Breaks Into Blessings!!

There are two arguments to this statement..

1. Agreeing that it will make you stronger...
So more experiences throughout life may hurt you more and more... and when in the process of getting hurt, you are somehow less vulnerable every time it hits... It makes you more aware of life, and you can learn from your mistake and avoid'em next time around, but that doesnt mean that you will get hurt less... but it does make you stronger and ready to fight it faster. Been there, done this, done that! So really... lots of bad experiences in life do make you stronger.... IF it doesn't kill you first.

2. Disagreeing that it will make you stronger...
Say that someone gets into a car accident and then are left disabled for life!Or may be some disease... Take dementia for example. A person's mental state will deteriorate... translation = it is affecting the mental state but doesn't really kill you.. and even when trying to fight it... you are not getting any stronger!!

For the most part.. I think I agree... maybe when going down the hill you dont like the process, and you feel rather weaker than stronger... then when you beat it.. you become stronger...

now think for a moment, what does it make you stronger for? For the next time it hits?

Neva Give UP !!!

I believe that if you truly love something and it makes you happy, why be with out it. Never give up on what you love. We all have something in our lives that we love and will never give up no matter the cost or how far it takes to have it. Even in a relationship, you may find that you are in love and no matter how far the person is, distance should not matter.

Everyone has one true love and finding it, is almost a miracle when it happens. A miracle that is so great, so powerful and to wonderful to walk away from.

The love that you desire is yours and yours alone. No matter how old we are or how many years go by, you will always remember and welcome it back into your life over and over again. Art is my love and giving it up, is not an option in my life. I may take a break or forget about it for a week, a month or even a year, but it is my love that will be there when I most desire it. It is my Passion and my dream to create art. No matter what your love may be, don't forget that it makes you happy. Happiness is the most important part of finding you love something.

You might have more than one love. Some have the love for their families, friends, jobs, raising animals, hobbies, etc... What ever your love may be, just know that at the end of each day, you have something of your very own. It will be there when "you" most desire it. Life is to short to give up on what you love.

LoSiNG iT !!!!

Interesting question: what does it mean to lose your virginity?

In the strictest term; you are a virgin until you've had sexual intercourse with the member of the opposite sex.? But this definition leaves a lot of people out of the loop. While the social policy makers look to redefine marriage to include same sex partnerships, maybe it is time we also revisited what it means to be a virgin.

When we think of virgins, we think of "white wedding innocents" who define sex as a synonym for gender. But the fact is, the standard definition of virginity lets you get away with having a lot of different kinds of sex with still being able to call yourself a virgin. In theory, under the traditional definition of virginity, someone who is homosexual can have sex every day and still be a virgin. Someone who has oral sex regularly is also still a virgin. Does that really make sense? Something is a miss!

The whole narrow definition of virginity is in desperate need of a rewrite. When does "fooling around" end and "having sex" begin? What does "losing your virginity" mean to you? Is it a state of mind or a specific act? Is it something that can be taken from you, or does it only count if you willingly give it away?
